TITLE: 2nd line support

DURATION: 12 months
As a Support Engineer you provide IT support for hardware & software applications to SME customers (including Mensura, Notarisfederatie and Nationale Lotterij), both by telephone and by e-mail. Is the network down or is the business software failing? Is someone not logged in or is a migration of the mail server planned? No problem, as an IT expert you can handle everything! You use a ticketing tool: you create your own tickets in case of incidents or problems and, if you can, solve them yourself. You are responsible for always providing a good follow-up. Field technicians are also remotely controlled by you. The great thing about this position is that you are given the freedom to immerse yourself in what interests you most. You can take matters into your own hands and delve into them (networks, systems, security,…). Your qualities
You have an IT education and a good operational knowledge of:
Operating systems (XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows server 2008, Windows server 2012, Linux …)
Microsoft backoffice applications (Exchange, SQL, ISA …)
Current network techniques and accessories: Active Directory, antivirus, anti-spam, back-up, switches, telephony …
You are familiar with O365 and cloud applications.
You are also customer-oriented, stress-resistant and you enjoy helping people further. Thanks to your strong communication skills, that is no problem! All sounds pretty logical, right?
Dare to grow and become a true IT consultant who will specialize in one domain within the infrastructure. Studying, following targeted training and obtaining certificates are on your wish list!
Finally: you speak fluent Dutch and a good mouthful of French and English.
