What will your mission be ?
ü  The Senior Network Designer/Pure Connect Designer will be working on the design of several upcoming network and Genesys Pure Connect/CTI projects/changes

ü  The Senior Network Designer/Pure Connect Designer is in charge of the daily operational management of the IT Infrastructure

ü  The Senior Network Designer/Pure Connect Designer will be working 50% on the network part and 50% on the CTI/Pure Connect part

Which tasks will you be working on ?
ü  Responsible for keeping the IT infrastructure up and running, as per the service level agreements

ü  Responsible for WAN, LAN and WLAN support of Office sites and Datacenter

ü  Responsible for the SBC (Audiocodes) and Genesys Pure Connect platform

ü  Manage support tickets (second and third line) Network and CTI Genesys Pure Connect

ü  Ensure that the standards & governance principles of the infrastructure are followed

ü  Participate in the Change Management process

ü  Ensure that support documentation is kept up to date

ü  Propose improvements on network and CTI level

ü  Validate the infrastructure and network/CTI deliverables in projects, as per the standards

ü  Responsible for version management

ü  Support to first line support

ü  Provide second line support

ü  Manage third line support

ü  Propose solutions to meet business requirements

ü  Create/validate the HLD & LLD for various network/CTI projects

ü  Coordinate and work closely with several managed service provides

ü  Deploy the solutions in a controlled way into production

ü  Ensure a correct handover to operations

ü  Contribute to the writing of RFP’s

ü  Writing of new call flows in Genesys Pure Connect (create IVR)

ü  FW/Network monitoring

ü  Analyse call logs

ü  Advise operational teams

ü  Writing of detailed migration plans for implementation of significant and major changes

ü  Writing of high level change descriptions for getting a change approved by the CAB

ü  Writing of test plans to validate the correct functioning of setups after a change

ü  Writing of performance troubleshooting reports

Which COMPETENCES do you need for applying ?
ü  The ideal candidate has a Bachelors or Master’s Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Software, etc.) or has gained equivalent knowledge by relevant work experience

ü  8+ years of experience in multiple IT areas

ü  Must be able to prove an active experience in the following areas :

─         MPLS technology (IGP/LDP/MP-BGP, L2VPN, L3VPN)

─         Networks: LAN/MAN/WAN technologies, TCP/IP, Ethernet, and architectures (Layered model, Spanning-tree, multicast, QOS, VRF, HSRP, …)

─         ROUTING (static, BGP, OSPF, redistribution) – thorough BGP knowledge is a must

─         End-to-end Qos for business applications and RT streams (voice, video) and network optimization tools

─         Tunnelling GRE, IPSEC

─         DC LAN technology (Spanning-tree, Multi-Chassis Etherchannel, VSS, Thrill/Fabric Path, DC interconnect technologies (VPLS, OTV, …)

─         FW (checkpoint, Cisco ASA Firepower, Tufin), experience segregation networks (DMZ, ICS perimeters)

─         Proxy Zscaler/ZPA/Bluecoat

─         Radius/NAC/SSLVPN

─         Reverse Proxy/Load balancing

─         Good troubleshooting skills

─         WLAN centralized management

─         AD with integrated Radius and CA

─         Citrix/VPN

─         Skype/Teams

─         SIP Trunking

─         Genesys Pure Connect or Genesys Pure Connect Cloud (design + operations)

─         Experience with Visio

─         Fundamental understanding of IT processes and operational procedures.

─         Nice to have: experience other CTI platforms, migrating Pure Connect to other platform

─         Nice to have: SDWAN implementation experience

ü  You must possess good interpersonal skills and strong communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to communicate in both technical and non-technical terms.

ü  You have abilities in a mediator role and are able to ask the correct questions to understand correctly both sides and get to an agreement

ü  You can work in an autonomous way and are a good team player.

ü  You are business proficient in English and at least in Dutch or French

Practicalities
ü  To work full time  (Up to 2 days/week in Brussels and up to 4 days/week from home during Corona crisis)
